  • About: From a long-running (ca. 2005-2017) series by the artist featuring spontaneous riffs on pages removed from vintage copies of books by James Thurber, incorporating Thurber's pre-printed illustrations into Gladstone's free-association, inventive compositions; the five available here were among the last of the series, sold to a private California collection and recently re-acquired by the artist from the original collector's estate

  • Signed by the artist with his monogram cipher (PG), and again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
