  • Artist's note: "The Keeper of the Calm" was inspired by a circa 1923 self-portrait photograph by Austrian photographer Rudolf Koppitz (1884-1936)
  • Made with artist's acrylic paints on a 3/4 inch deep cradled wooden panel, varnished with an archival UV-filtering gloss varnish
  • Image measures 12 by 12 inches
  • Created in June 2021
  • Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2021", lower right; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
