- About: From Philip Gladstone's Museum Series, works that tell complex, multifaceted stories while referencing and paying homage to iconic works of art, artists and popular culture — in this case combining the sculpture of Louise Nevelson, Andy Warhol's iconic Brillo Box and Vincent Van Gogh's masterpiece "Starry Night", with a nod to photographer William Wegman's dogs
- Made with watercolor, pen-and-inks, colored pencils and Windsor & Newton pigmented markers with sgraffito (scraping) on clay-coated paper, mounted to 4-ply rag board
- Image measures 11-3/4 by 14-1/2 inches (as shown, sheet slightly larger)
- Created in 2018, extensively reworked 2023
- Signed by the artist with his monogram cipher (PG) and dated "2023", lower right/center; signed again with the artist's full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
