"La Fraternité" is an original mixed-media work on paper by Philip Gladstone
- Artist's note: This work is an original interpretation of a portion of the monumental 1885 sculpture of the same title by Aimé-Jules Dalou (French, 1838-1902)
- Made with charcoal, graphite, pen-and-inks, watercolor, watercolor pencils and Windsor & Newton pigmented markers on paper, varnished with a UV-filtering satin varnish
- Image measures 15-1/2 by 10-5/8 inches (as shown, sheet slightly larger)
- Created in May 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2021", lower right; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
