A unique work inspired by a conversation with a collector, "Eakins Directs His Students" is a digital collage made by Philip Gladstone in Photoshop using elements of his 2009 painting "The Director" (bottom) and his 2012 painting "Eakins' Students Pose for The Swimming Hole" (top)to create an entirely new composition available as a signed and numbered limited edition on paper.
