• Artist's note: "American Hercules" is a vivid, dream-like mashup of imagery borrowed and reimagined for this expressive original composition from disparate sources, including illustrator Perham Wilhelm Nahl's 1915 poster "The 13th Labor of Hercules"; a moving 1950 U.S. Army photograph of grief-stricken soldiers in the Korean War; Pablo Picasso's masterpiece "Guernica"; and loose references to Roy Lichtenstein's iconic "Whaam!", Mickey Mouse, vintage Coca-Cola advertising, and more
• "American Hercules"" is a giclée print on premium fine art matte white paper
• The sheet size (including white margins all around) is 16-5/8 by 13 inches
• The image size (excluding the white margins) is 14-5/8 by 11 inches
• Our giclées are signed by the artist, numbered and titled (when applicable) in pencil, all within the lower white margin directly below the image
• This edition was published in 2021
• This edition size is fifteen plus two artist's proofs (for a total of just seventeen giclées)
• A hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity is included with every giclée from Philip Gladstone Studio
