Artist's note: This work was inspired by an 1886 photograph from the studio of Thomas Eakins, amalgamated with the Man in the Moon from the groundbreaking 1902 French film Le Voyage dans la Lune

• Made with graphite, watercolor, pen-and-inks and watercolor pencils with touches of white acrylic on Arches cold-press watercolor paper
• Image measures 15-1/8 by 5-7/16 inches (as shown, sheet slightly larger)
• Created on April 4-5, 2020
• Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2020", lower left/center; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
